Louisville turns out to Fourth Street Live! to celebrate Cinco de Mayo
It is never too late to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.
At least, that was the philosophy of several who came out to Fourth Street Live! on Sunday to commemorate the holiday three days after May 5.
The Louisville Latino Council hosted its own Cinco de Mayo celebration at the downtown venue.
Guests got to enjoy live music from a mariachi band and performances from Mexico lindo dancers.
"The reason this is our biggest year is the pandemic held us back last year. So, people were just itching to come to this party," said one attendee.
This free fiesta also included dancing, activities for both adults and children and, of course, a lot of great-tasting food and drinks.
